How NeuralClaim works

Six steps, shaped to what you have: your time, your budget, your resources and your location. You learn how this world works as you build, your idea turns into something real and yours, and filing is one move you make when it is time. At every step you see what you get and what it costs.

Getting started

Two ways in

Nuro's new welcome asks one thing: what brings you here? You pick one of two doors.

"I have an idea"

Type it or paste your notes. Already talked it through in an AI chat? Copy our prompt into that chat and paste the summary back here. Optional buttons tell Nuro if you're getting ready to see a lawyer or building a product or startup.

"I have something I care about, but need help fleshing out an idea"

Nuro asks two short questions about the problem, place or people you care about. Then the Invention Generator suggests ideas to start from.

Either way, you get to a first result in about three choices after you sign up.

  1. Step 1. Your idea

    What you get
Your idea in your own words, saved with today's date and private to your project. Start from an idea you already have, or let the Invention Generator suggest one. Nuro asks about your time, your budget, your resources and your location, and the plan is built from those, not from a template.
    Which plan
    Free Every paid plan
  2. Step 2. See what already exists

    What you get
A one-page write-up with a list of parts, and the closest patents and research papers from around the world, each with a link. You get no verdict. Close matches are normal and show what's already out there. This is where you start learning to read your field the way the people in it do.
    Which plan
Free: one worldwide search Spark and up: US and home-country searches in the Workshop
  3. Step 3. Your full write-up with Billie, the IP architect

    What you get
An invention disclosure: a document that says what your invention is and how it works. Billie asks questions and you answer in your own words. Every term is explained when you reach it, at your level, so the jargon becomes yours. The record grows as your build does.
    Which plan
    Spark and up
  4. Step 4. How it stacks up

    What you get
The full search of patents and papers, a look at how much work and dedication it will take to make this happen, given your specific strengths and constraints, a first look at patents close to what you plan to make, and a trade-secret read. You leave with the questions to settle before anything else, and plain words for each one.
    Which plan
    Spark and up
  5. Step 5. Get ready to file, or keep building, protected

    What you get
Two equal moves, and you pick. Keep building, protected: your dated write-up, a disclosure log of who has seen what, a trade-secret read and the IP Monitor stand behind you while you prototype, pitch and test. Get ready to file: the steps and fees for your country, across 26 patent offices. On Spark and up, a first provisional draft and a packet you can file yourself, take to a free clinic or hand to a lawyer. On Self-Starter, a long-form provisional draft built from your own materials, labeled figures, the formal attorney packet, and a completeness map that finds gaps and asks the questions attorneys ask. You decide whether and how to file.
    Which plan
Spark and up Self-Starter for the deepest version
  6. Step 6. Stay current

    What you get
Nuro's portal keeps the plan moving: seven coaching modules (overview, funding, partnerships, prototyping, go-to-market, compliance and tasks), your notebook, milestones and key dates, including the 12-month clock after a provisional filing. Grant matching, a grant tracker and a grant drafter on every paid plan, matched to your invention and your country, with company set-up steps for where you live. On Forge and up, the IP Monitor checks new patents and companies in your space every month, and Billie reads each match.

After the Workshop

Two tools that keep working for you.

Your invention doesn't stop at a write-up. The IP Monitor checks your space every month, and the grant tools find money for what you're building.

IP Monitor

A watch on new patents, papers and companies in your space.

Big companies pay for patent-watch services. Here it's built in. Once your invention is written down, the IP Monitor checks newly published patents and research papers against its key features every month, and tracks the companies behind the patents near you. New ones are flagged in your monthly email.

The IP Monitor for a sample invention: two tracked patents, each with a plain-language read on whether it matters, and the companies in its space.

  • Billie reads every match and tells you if it's clear, worth watching or worth a look, with a next step.
  • Track or dismiss each match, and see which features of your invention have close patents.
  • A match worth a look is noted in your invention's record. Have a pending US application? You get a reminder to tell the patent office about it.
  • One email on the 1st of each month with your new matches.

Included with Forge and up.

Grants

Find grants, track them and draft them.

Money that doesn't cost you equity, matched to your invention.

  • Grant matching. Open US federal grants from Grants.gov, including SBIR and STTR calls, matched to your invention and sorted by deadline. Outside the US, the national programs for your country, named with links.
  • Worth your time? Nuro gives you a plain read on each match.
  • Grant tracker. Mark each one drafting, submitted, shortlisted, funded and more, with every deadline counting down.
  • Grant drafter. It reads the real call and helps you draft your sections from what you've already built: summary, problem, innovation, approach, impact, team, a budget outline and fit to the call. Anything missing is marked for you to fill in.

Grant matching, the tracker and the drafter come with every paid plan. Forge and up also get new grant leads in the monthly email.

No idea yet?

The Invention Generator is a full tool.

Describe a problem, a place or a group of people you care about. The generator suggests invention ideas you can save and build on.

  • Three modes: fast, balanced and deep.
  • Idea cards with scores and a read on how buildable each idea is.
  • The closest patents and papers for each idea, shown up front.
  • Ideas other members have launched on a paid plan are left out, so you aren't handed someone else's project.
  • "Generate more, avoiding these" steers away from ideas you don't want.

Free accounts get 2 runs. Spark gets 10 a day. Forge gets 20 a day.

See it before you sign up.

The walkthrough shows the whole map, start to finish. Just the beginning: your IP packet builds as you grow. It takes about 2 minutes and needs no account.

You don't need permission to start.

Just an idea, and a map to follow.
